During heat season (October 1 through May 31), NYCHA is committed to maintaining the following temperatures in apartments, in accordance with New York City Administrative Code:
Eight NYCHA developments currently have apartment temperature sensors. By 2020, 58 additional developments will have these indoor apartment temperature sensors, which are being installed as part of a new building management system (BMS).
